all the
family to enjoy. We bring a variety of
different dance genres to the Spa stage, including Ballroom, Latin,
Street
Dance, Contemporary, Rock’n’Roll, Freestyle, etc, and display our
interpretations of some of the most popular movies and West End shows.
An
inspiring, exhilarating evening, all performed by local talent.
‘Dance
is
not what we do…..it’s who we are!’
IDTA
Examinations
Standards are still as high as ever
at the Michelle Hatton School of
Dance and Performing Arts, students once again achieved 100% pass rate
in their
recent International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA)
examinations…’the
results are amazing…every student achieved ‘Highly Commended’ and
‘Honours’
grades for every exam taken, nothing lower - I am so proud of all my
students’

LONDON Dec 2011
After
again being given the prestigious honor of being invited
again to perform in the Childrens Variety Performance at Her Majestys
Theatre,
West End, the home of ‘Phantom of The Opera’ last March…we were then
invited to
perform at the Shaftesbury Avenue Theatre, London, in December, recently the
home of
‘Hairspray’ and now ‘Rock of Ages’.
This fabulous opportunity brings together a small selection of Schools
from
across the country and beyond.
This trip is a fantastic opportunity for all those involved, for some a
once in
a life time experience.
- Performing in the West End is what
a dancer
dreams of.
It was a very long and tiring day as usual
but the dancers driven by the excitement of this fabulous opportunity
performed
to their highest abilities. They were marvelous.
This trip has very high travel costs…but
thanks to the generosity of local businesses, organizations, local
individuals
and the efforts of the dance school fund raising committee and dance
school
members, we are able to raise enough money to say ‘yes’ to fabulous
opportunities like this, even in these difficult financial times. So a
massive
THANK YOU to the people of ‘BRIDLINGTON’ for making this possible.
